Dr. Andrew Scherbarth – Ph.D., BCBA
I have 13 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who serves teens and adults via HIPAA-secure telehealth sessions. Primary areas of expertise include: anxiety, panic, depression, anger issues, social anxiety, ADHD, OCD, ASD, life changes (adjusting to new family situations, jobs, schools, relocation, burnout, or grief), etc. People seek therapy with me because they want their life to fit better without so much stress & difficulty. They want to be more fulfilled and get relief from that stress. They have thoughts and feelings that stand in the way of being able to be the people they want to be–with friends, family, school, work, dating & relationships, or even alone during free time. Sometimes these feelings are so strong that they affect them physically too–it causes a racing heart, dizziness, stomach aches, headaches, muscle tension, or insomnia. I collaborate with clients to figure out what is happening for them & make some plans to start untangling their issues. My favorite part about being a Psychologist is seeing clients do more of what they care about, while getting relief from these thoughts & feelings, to make their lives fit better through our work together.
